Queen’s Birthday Weekend – CREB Track/Private Property
3 October @ 7:00 am - 5 October @ 5:00 pm
The club has two trips prepared for this weekend as the Creb is so often weather dependent.
The 71km CREB Track, which starts just north of Daintree Village, is regarded as one of Australia’s most spectacular and challenging four-wheel drive trails. In dry conditions, the CREB Track is a very steep and very rough track linking Daintree to Wujal Wujal and is only suitable for well-equipped 4WD vehicles and motorists with vehicle recovery experience.
The second trip is a property which is in from Greenvale and is privately owned and as a club we have been able to gain access. Every time we go to this place it surprises us, the tranquility of this place is amazing. The fishing is great as well and we hold our annual fishing competition over the weekend with a very special trophy for the winner. The challenging tracks to get to this property is also the fun part of the weekend.
Please check club email for more details and correct departure times.
PLEASE NOTE: Trips may change at any stage due to rain or availability of trip leaders. If you have any trips you think that the club would like to do, please do not hesitate to talk to one of our friendly trip coordinators and they will be more than willing to help you lead a trip or organise one. Remember that we need trip leaders to run some of these trips, it is a very easy job to do as you will be guided by someone with a bit of experience.
