20 Adults and 4 children attended with new visitor Peter Hampton attending with his 3 well behaved children.
We started off playing the 18 holes of golf with 6 groups, most teams of 3 or 4 and one large group of 5.
Everyone had fun and much laughter was taking place throughout the course. Unfortunately there were no Tiger Wood’s in our group. We tried hard and had a lot of laughs. We had water hazards, pebble scrapes, wonky putts, crowd heckling and someone who thought he was at St. Andrews.
When dinner was ready we stopped playing and enjoyed the buffet meal that was plentifully and there was lots of chatter around the table.
Since we had only got halfway around the course we went back out to finish our match making tournament and then ending the evening around the tables tallying up our score cards.
Out of the 6 groups, 5 people scored a ‘Hole-In-One’, Congratulations to Gaye, hole 7, Val, hole 9, Rick hole 9, Peter, hole 10, and Cole-Lee, hole 12, well done!
It was a very enjoyable evening and the feedback I got from everyone who attended was that we should do it again.
